What skills and experience we're looking for

Lowfield Primary School is situated close to the city centre. It is a friendly, rapidly improving school which serves a diverse and supportive multi-ethnic community. The school currently has 403 pupils on roll. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised individual to work in our busy school office. Applicants should be team players but also able to work on their own initiative, you will have the ability to work effectively, often under pressure, meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will work as part of the administrative team, in providing a high level of administrative support. This incorporates a wide range of clerical duties such as reception, telephone enquiries, photocopying, maintaining records, routine financial administration, recording of school meals. Excellent reception / telephone and word processing skills are essential, as is the ability to work alongside all staff, pupils and visitors. The successful candidate will need to be computer literate. We would like the successful candidate to take up post as soon as possible.
