The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious administrator to work within our Reception Team, with the skills, enthusiasm and drive to be part of our highly successful school.

As the one of the first points of contact in our Main Office, you will be flexible and confident working in a fast-paced busy environment where you will need to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. Previous school-based experience is desired and ideally (but not essential) you will have knowledge of school-based systems such as Arbor.

If you have experience working within a busy office environment and experience of working with young people/children, preferably within a school, this could be the perfect role for you.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and a range of other recruitment checks. For shortlisted candidates, this may include online searches of publicly available information, for example, via social media platforms such as Facebook, X and Instagram.

We are committed to diversity and have policies in place to promote equality of opportunity.

Prenton High School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare, both physical and emotional, of every student, both inside and outside of the school premises. We follow a child-centred approach to safeguarding our students, which means that at all times staff must consider what is in best interests of the child and take action accordingly.

We work together with external agencies to ensure that the school identifies, accesses and supports those children who are suffering or likely to suffer harm.
