What skills and experience we're looking for
The Forest View Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Admin Assistant to join their friendly and dedicated team. The successful applicant will be required to provide an administrative role within the school office and support the Office Manager.
The successful applicant will need to be familiar with working in a busy office environment, and all that it entails. This position will include general office & reception duties, text messaging service, pupil attendance, cash handling, and all aspects of general clerical work including answering the telephone. You must be able to prioritise your time effectively.
You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be prepared to contribute to the wider life of the school. The role involves daily contact with children, parents and colleagues from a range of agencies, therefore, excellent communication skills are a must.
