Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for administration and supporting education? Thornhill Academy is seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality clerical and student support services.

About the RoleAs an Administration Assistant, you will:

✔️ Be the first point of contact for staff, students, and visitors, handling queries professionally.
✔️ Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including calls, emails, and post.
✔️ Maintain accurate records and data entry using school systems such as Arbor.
✔️ Assist in organising school trips, events, and parent communications.
✔️ Support staff with administrative tasks, including reprographics and resource management.
✔️ Provide first aid and medical support as needed (training provided).
✔️ Contribute to the smooth running of the academy’s daily operations.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

✔ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Is well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
✔ Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems.
✔ (Desirable) Has experience working in a school or administrative environment.
✔ Is committed to supporting the academy’s values of Excellence, Equity, and Integrity.
