Ticehurst and Flimwell Church of England Primary School is in a rural setting just on the outskirts of the small village of Ticehurst, within easy access to the M25 via the A21, and it has good rail links from Stonegate and Wadhurst to London and coastal towns.
There are currently 111 pupils on role, aged between four and eleven years, and we have an independently-run pre-school on site. The school is modern and has a spacious hall, new library and IT suite and classrooms - each with outdoor courtyard areas. The outside environment is extensive with a playground, gym, netball court, pond area, gardens, outdoor classroom and playing field.
Our school serves the local communities of Ticehurst and Flimwell; we also have pupils who come from further afield and have good links with the village and churches of both Ticehurst and Flimwell.
There are four mixed-age classes. The teaching staff are supported by teaching assistants who help to create a strong team who work well together. We also collaborate with local schools in a supportive network.
