Administrative Assistant job summary
We are seeking two ambitious, highly motivated, organised, hardworking administrators to work in our fast-paced environment within the education sector.
The successful candidates will provide support to all stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, care, safety, and security for all. The successful candidates will be carrying out general administrative tasks such as reception and telephony, dealing with general queries, first aid (training provided), updating Arbor schools management system (training provided). Applicants must have exceptional communications skills, both written and verbally and have previous experience in an administrative role, but not necessarily within education as full training will be provided.
This is a pivotal and exciting time as the school finalises and delivers the plans for key stage 4 and 5. We are seeking to appoint a person who want to be actively part of the journey as we grow into a fully open school by 2028.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated experienced Admin Officer to join our friendly office team, at an exciting time in our development.
Core purpose
To promote and develop the academy office and reception to provide and excellent service to all staff and students.
To be responsible for administrative support for all staff.
Core qualities
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
A willingness to embrace change and demonstrate flexibility.
Excellent organisational skills.
The post will be 37 hours per week term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks).
First post Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm and Wednesday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm. Second post 8:15 am – 4:15 pm and Thursday 3:45 pm.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
