What skills and experience we're looking for

Walford Nursery & Primary School are looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of our school.

The governors of this happy, popular and successful school are lookingfor a dedicated professional who is committed to undertaking theresponsibilities andaccountabilities of work in a busy school office environment providing reception, administrative andfinancial supportto the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with the school leadership team, governors, teaching staff, parents, carers and pupils to ensure the smooth running of administrative processes across our primary school.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant Level 5 who:

  • will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of our school
  • can demonstrate high levels of organisational skills
  • has excellent interpersonal abilities
  • has excellent communication skills
  • experience of working effectively within an administrative role
  • experience of working effectively within an financial role
  • a sound knowledge of school software systems, e.g., MiS systems
