Pay Grade – Grade E4 (£23,114 FTE. This will be prorated to £9,633.87 per annum)

Hours – 17.5 hours per week.

Working 12:30pm – 4pm, 5 days per week.

40 weeks per year

We are looking for a professional, motivated and conscientious person to work within our administration team, to help facilitate core administrative duties, essential for the running of our school!

The successful candidate will encompass our values and work as an efficient, professional, and organised Administrator, to provide a clerical, financial and executive service to the school. This is a role where no two days are the same and hence time management, prioritisation and multi-tasking is essential.

By working with wider stakeholders, from Children, Staff, Parents, Governors and Trust members, the role of an administrative assistant will be involved in all aspects of school life, and will work with a focused and conscientious attitude, committed to providing an effective service that prioritises communication, management, and confidentiality. The role of an administrator is an essential and valued position, to ensure local, Trust and statutory deadlines are met, facilitating the management of key processes, that support our children.

This role will also particularly focus on HR Administrative duties to support the Trust HR Advisor, whilst also driving whole school communication, assessment data and general administrative duties.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Can maintain a courteous, professional and welcoming manner, in person, writing and on the telephone, with key stakeholders, to reflect our key values.
  • Providing effective secretarial support to meet the school’s administrative daily requirements.
  • Efficient record keeping, maintaining compliance with data protection requirement.
  • Takes accountability for the organisation and management of key school procedures, including, but not limited to, submission of relevant data to HR, Finance and Health and Safety teams, website maintenance and safeguarding protocol.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly, both independently and within part of a team.
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
