Administrative Assistant, Part-time, 20 hrs/week job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our busy Administration team.
Post hours 20 per week for 39 weeks per year. Monday - Thursday 9am - 1pm, Friday 11.30am - 3.30pm.
As our main contact on the Reception Desk you will be the face of Plympton St. Maurice Primary School taking calls, dealing with visitors face-to-face, updating SchoolMoney and providing high level administrative support as part of the wider Administration team.
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, hardworking, a multi-tasker and extremely well organised. We are looking for candidates who have professional and excellent communication skills (oral and written), a clear telephone manner, proven computer skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure.
Applicants must be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children, have positive relationships with Parents/Carers, be a good team member and hold GCSE Grade A* - C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
