The Romsey School is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality, confidential support to our Deputy Headteachers and wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored administration and secretarial support to Deputy Headteachers.
Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and handle confidential correspondence.
Coordinate School Admissions appointments and maintain the admissions portal.
Assist with website/social media updates.
Draft and distribute parental communications via the MIS system.
Attend meetings and produce accurate, confidential minutes.
Assist with pupil events, open evenings, and the RAP card system.
Provide cover for Reception, Attendance, and First Aid as needed.
Support the school’s appraisal process
Uphold safeguarding, data protection, and confidentiality standards.
What We are Looking For
Essential:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Experience in a similar administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and diary management.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A calm, flexible, and professional approach.
Desirable:
Experience in a secondary school or educational setting.
