Administrative Assistant job summary
An exciting opportunity awaits a proactive, personable, and reliable School Administrator to join a bustling front office administration team. The academy seeks an individual with a fast-paced nature and outstanding attention to detail to offer comprehensive administrative support, including database maintenance, ad hoc reception duties, and customer service.
The Role
You will be the first point of contact for the school and responsible for providing multifunctional administrative and practical support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and staff.
You will work with the school team on a variety of administration activities, including communicating with families via email and social media, managing payment systems, maintaining school records, supporting the smooth transition of pupils into and out of the school, the management of the school pupil management system. You will also undertake a wide range of other duties, including supporting the planning and organisation of school trips and helping with staff recruitment.
The role is part-time, term time only (39 weeks), Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week.

As the first point of contact for parents and staff across all levels, your ability to maintain organisation and attention to detail in a busy setting will be crucial.

Education experience would be ideal; however not essential as full training and support will be provided.
