Administrative Assistant job summary

We have a vacancy for a part time Administrative Assistant to start on 2nd September 2024.

This vacancy is for 13 hours per week, term time only (plus a proportion of inset days). Thursday and Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (with half an hour unpaid lunch break). Actual annual salary £ 7,138

There are opportunities within the school for additional hours to help with our popular extended care clubs.

Duties include the provision of clerical and administrative support to assist the smooth running of the School and day to day First Aid provision. Key to the role is the ability to provide a calm, caring and supportive environment for our children and staff within a busy office environment.

This is a demanding role which requires the successful candidate to be:

- IT literate (able to use Microsoft office software as a minimum)

- able to juggle multiple tasks successfully

- comfortable working with figures,

- flexible, able to work as part of a team and work to deadlines.

Previous experience of working in a school office environment desirable but not essential.

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be notified and interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
