Term time only, plus TED days and 5 days

Hollymount School is a thriving two form entry primary school in Worcester. We are looking for an approachable, enthusiastic, self- motivated and hard-working individual to join our school office team as an Administrative Finance Assistant. Our school office is the busy heart of our school where children and families go for help and guidance and colleagues go for support.
Our school is a home of learning where every child matters and where every adult is valued. The successful applicant will provide effective administration of school finance in line with Trust policy and procedures and offer administrative support to our Headteacher and the Trust Finance Manager.
The role will include:
raising and processing purchases orders and invoices
ordering resources
day-to-day management of the parent payment system
act as a point of contact for finance queries, for example regarding the parent payment system
maintaining accurate financial records
Alongside finance duties the successful candidate be part of the team who are the first point of contact to all visitors and callers to the school and will support the school Office Manager in the provision of effective administrative services in our wonderful school.
The successful candidate will:
Have administrative experience
Have financial administration experience
Have good ICT skills and knowledge of every day computer packages such as Microsoft
Be pleasant, patient and have a welcoming manner.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with all stakeholders.
Be motivated and creative and be able to work on their own initiative, but also contribute to the office team.
Have good organisational skills, be able to work flexibly and have the ability to multi-task in a busy office.
Show initiative and have the capacity to problem-solve in a calm and professional manner.
