ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
KINGSTON PARK ACADEMY, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Salary: Grade C points 4 – 6 (£18,426 to £19,171 full time equivalent) pro rata

Hours: 37 hours per week / 5 days per week / Term Time only + 5 days (39 weeks) / Permanent

Kingston Park Academy are looking to appoint an Administrative Officer to join our academy in April 2020. You will work under direction to provide, routine clerical and administrative support to the Academy. You will also provide cover for reception as required.

Kingston Park is a single form entry primary school catering for pupils from 3 – 11 years. Situated in a small village, the school is friendly and welcoming and takes pride in its role at the heart of the community. Our children are curious about the world and their place in it and we at Kingston Park endeavour to make their creativity and enthusiasm for learning the key driver behind our evolving curriculum model. Essential educational requirements

•GCSE Grade C in English and Maths, or equivalent (A/I/C)
•Relevant work experience or vocational training with regard to reception/office work (A/I)
•RSA Level 2 word processing, or equivalent (A/I/C)
•Knowledge of a range of standard computer packages e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook email (A/I)

•Able to work sensitively with confidential information (A/I/R)

•The post holder will require an enhanced DBS (C)

Essential skills and experience

Desirable

•NVQ Level 2 Administration, or equivalent (A/I/C)
•Experience of using SIMS or similar programme (A/I)
