What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Have relevant education qualifications and good spoken/written English;
  • Have a working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures;
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. e.g. Excel, Word, Power-Point
  • Have knowledge of school admissions procedures and school MIS systems;
  • Knowledge of marketing the school within the local community and various social media platforms;
  • Writing clear and succinct letters to a range of different stakeholders;
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people;
  • Good listener who communicates information effectively to a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a strong school team;
  • Has a thorough understanding of school health, safety, first-aid and safeguarding protocols;
  • Have experience of working in a busy environment;
  • Be enthusiastic, quick thinking, motivated and have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload in a fast paced environment;
  • An understanding of MIS and GDPR legislation;
  • Believe in and passionately support the vision, ethos and policies of the school;
  • Be committed to the highest expectations and “learning without limits”;
  • Be an inspiring administrator and have outstanding interpersonal skills;

Stanburn Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding skilled Administrative Officer: Leadership Support and Admissions to help us continue to improve our school. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Leadership Team and will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of all aspects of governance administration. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dedicated and highly organised; you will use your experience to provide a range of administrative and practical services to support the effective & efficient running of the schools main office. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
