Administrator 32.5 hours per week job summary

32.5 hours p/w over 39 weeks

(08:30 – 15:30, incl. 30 mins unpaid lunch)

Monday to Friday

Whilst this is not an exhaustive list, key duties will include:

  • Undertaking general office administration support including but not limited to answering the telephone, reception and messenger duties, filing, reprographics and data input
  • Maintaining Single Central Record
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, in person and over the phone, checking of Single Central Record for all visitors
  • Supporting home visits in line with attendance and safeguarding procedures
  • Providing support with recruitment, co-ordinating staff induction and staff leavers
  • Processing and recording staff absence including requests for leave of absence and annual leave
  • Maintaining up-to-date personnel records, including pay increments, contractual changes, and training hours
  • Processing pay claims and manage and pay and pension queries
  • Processing purchase requisitions
  • Administering pupil census and workforce census
  • Updating pupil premium eligibility records
  • Co-ordinating and inputting data into MIS relating to pupil admissions and leavers
  • Fire Warden

Act in accordance with school policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection, safeguarding, protected characteristics and behaviour management

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken and written aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 for public sector workers in customer-facing roles .
