Rugby Free Primary School is a 4-11 school which opened in September 2015 with three Reception classes in a newly refurbished building in Central Park. We welcome children of all abilities and from all backgrounds. We are non-selective, non-denominational and are free for all to attend. We provide a high quality, local school with an exciting and broad curriculum
We are now in our 7th year of operation and for the first time, have a school which is full from Reception to Year 6. We are really pleased to have pupils from EYFS to Year 6 and looking forward to the next stage of our journey!
Our wonderful Receptionist (administrator) is relocating and so we are looking for a new face for the front desk at RFPS! This is a vital role to our school as you are the first point of contact for any parent or visitor. It is vital that you are warm, friendly and approachable although at times, you also need to be firm and resilient! This role also communicates with pupils too, so you should enjoy working with and being surrounded by them!
The role is fast paced and you will need to be able to prioritise effectively and work calmly under pressure. You will work with and be supported by an excellent, friendly and fun admin team. They very much work as a team and are excited about a new member(s) joining them.
The successful candidate will be supported by a senior leadership team who have the highest ambitions for the school, its children and its staff. We will support the successful candidate in their professional development and progression will be fully supported and nurtured.
The position is either one person, full time (likely 8.15am – 4.15am) or two people, job sharing but with some overlapping time either AM (8.00am – 1.00pm or PM 11.30am – 4.30pm). However, for the right candidate, the hours are flexible.

Rugby Free Primary School opened in 2015. As of September 2021, we have a full school of 420 pupils
Our key aims are for all pupils to be given the correct support, teaching and curriculum opportunities they need to achieve their full potential academically, emotionally and socially. We want our pupils to be inspired by their learning and to enjoy school. We also want them to think about others, learn about the world around them and become respectful citizens of society. We want them to leave our school in Year 6 as confident, enthusiastic and motivated learners, ready to take on challenges in secondary education and make the most of opportunities in their lives.
