Are you an organised and enthusiastic administrator who enjoys helping others and working with computers? Would you like to build your confidence in IT while supporting a school that makes a difference every day? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for a school Administrator to support our ICT and school administration departments, to help keep things running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a basic understanding of ICT. You don’t need to be an IT expert — just confident using Microsoft Office or 365, keen to learn, and happy to lend a helping hand when staff need basic IT support.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Keeping things organised – You’ll support the day-to-day running of our ICT services, making sure everything is recorded, tracked, and followed up efficiently.
  • Logging IT issues – When staff or students have tech problems, you’ll be the first point of contact — helping where you can or logging tickets on our system for the ICT manager to follow up.
  • Supporting the team – You’ll assist with keeping track of equipment, setting up staff training and keeping user accounts up-to-date.
  • Helping others – You’ll help guide staff through simple tasks and make them feel supported and confident.
  • Learning as you go – There’ll be plenty of opportunities to pick up IT skills and get involved in projects with the support of our ICT Manager.

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident administrator with experience using Microsoft software packages.
  • Someone organised and reliable, who can manage tasks and prioritise well
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and an interest in technology
  • Good communication skills and a helpful nature
  • Experience working in a school environment is a bonus, but not essential

Qualifications:

  • Essential: NVQ Level 1 or equivalent experience in administration.
  • Desirable: Any ICT training or previous experience in a support role.
