Adult Supports Learning (ASL) job summary

Gainsborough Primary School is part of Eko Trust, a Multi Academy Trust, currently made up of 7 schools. At Eko Trust, every member of our community is empowered to learn, to be ambitious and to be resilient.


Many of our children have severe learning difficulties and require support with all aspects of their day including eating, drinking and using the toilet. ASLs support the children to access learning at their own level, following a personalised plan. The role is a challenging but rewarding one.

One year contract initially - with the likelihood of extension. The role is 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a basic English and Mathematics test and attend an interview.

Gainsborough Primary School is a two form, inner city, inclusive school. We believe in our Gainsborough Family - building success together.
