Job title: Advanced Learning Support Assistant
Location: Chantry Academy
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary:ALT Grade D points 8-11 - £21,063.65 - £21,564.59- Annually Actual

Key Responsibilities Includes:
- Support the classroom teacher to facilitate the active participation of students
- Assist with planning and delivering learning activities under teacher guidance
- Provide feedback to students regarding their progress and attainment
- Help create and maintain a stimulating learning environment
- Assist with exam invigilation, educational visits, and break-time supervision
- Contribute to record-keeping and progress monitoring of students

- NVQ Level 2 in a related area or equivalent experience
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and raising attainment for all students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and caring attitude, with a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
