Advanced Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated colleague to join our school, work with our children, and provide the support they need to be their best.

Working in our school is incredibly rewarding as we all work together as part of ‘Glad to be Gladstone’ enriching the education of our pupils. Our support staff are highly regarded and we pride ourselves on developing our support colleagues to excel and further develop their career through specialised training and career paths.

We encourage applications from candidates who have a passion for education and wish to work in a setting which offers reward and challenge and where no two days are the same.

The successful candidates must hold English and Maths GCSE level ‘C’ equivalent.

You will:

• Have previous experience in working with children and young people
• Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils
• Be supportive, nurturing and understanding
• Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience
• Work well as part of a team
• Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and in writing.
