Our Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an Advanced Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis to work 32.5 hours per week on a term time only basis.
This role will work under the direction of the class teacher, leadership staff and SENDCo, in assisting with and contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the learning process.
The post holder will:
Work within the school, with access to support and provide guidance
Cover lunchtime duty
Work within a classroom supporting groups of pupils or on a 1:1 basis
Have the ability to use a wide range of strategies to motivate and challenge individuals and small groups
Assist in creating and implementing educational resources and materials
Work effectively as part of a team
Have the ability to engage positively with parents and the community and be able to promote the vision and values of our school and Trust.
The post holder will need a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and have a basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
