What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for three Advanced Teaching Assistants to join our various teams!

We are looking to appoint highly motivated colleagues to join our school, work with our children, and provide the support they need to be their best.

Our community of children are diverse and have a range of different needs, in which we are committed to providing all the support needed to enable them to successfully access all that the school has to offer.

Early Years ATA

This wonderful role is mostly based in our early years provision, however there will be opportunity to work with various age groups throughout the school.

The successful candidate will work in a range of roles, including inside and outside the classroom, in small groups and acting to support the class teacher.

This role is working in EYFS with our youngest children. We would love to hear from candidates with early years experience or who would like to work in early years.

Inclusion ATA

This rewarding role is to work alongside our successful inclusion team consisting of our SENCO, Assistant SENCO, 4 learning mentors, and a safeguarding and welfare officer. The successful candidate will support children on the SEND register across a range of ages and key stages including supporting children in a 1:1 capacity or in small groups both inside and outside the classroom.

General ATA

This role is ideal for candidates who wish the test the waters of working with various age groups and pupil needs. You will be able to support and get to know all of our teachers, becoming part of our community. This is a refreshing role where no two days are the same!

Essential:

The successful candidate must hold English and Maths GCSE level ‘C’ or equivalent

You will:

Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all pupils

Be supportive, nurturing and understanding

Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience

Work well as part of a team

Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and in writing
