After School Club Assistant job summary

Buckton Fields Primary School is a new two-form entry school which opened in September 2021. We are seeking to grow our support staff team and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Afterschool Club provision. We are looking for a warm, friendly and reliable Afterschool Club Assistant to support the day to day running of this popular and growing facility which provides a safe and enjoyable end to the children’s school day. The successful applicant will be:

  • Flexible, motivated and energetic
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Keen to work as part of a team
  • Committed to high standards
  • Interested in healthy eating
  • Able to set up fun and creative activities to keep children engaged
  • Recognise the importance of play and relaxation opportunities
  • Understand the varied needs of primary aged children
  • Willing to undertake First Aid and Food Hygiene Training
