After School Club Assistant job summary
After School Club Assistant
Based at Southill Lower School
Monday-Friday 7.5 hours a week (afternoons 3.30pm-5pm)
Permanent position
Would suit school leaver, college student and experienced candidates
Due to expansion of our wrap around care provision we are looking for an additional breakfast and afterschool club assistant to:-
- Assist in the running of a varied programme of activities in our clubs.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of every child under their immediate supervision.
- Be familiar with, and follow, all the policies and procedures in place within the clubs.
Candidates must:-
- Be able to lead children by example;
- Be passionate about working with children;
- Be a flexible team player;
- Have a kind and supportive approach towards children;
- Be well organised and motivated;
- Have the ability to foster good relationships with parents and carers;
- Ensure safeguarding and the welfare of children is a priorities
- Have enhanced DBS clearance.
