What skills and experience we're looking for
Tregadillett Primary School are appointing an After-school Club Assistant to provide after school care provision on a daily basis and in particular we are seeking to develop our Forest School based provision.
This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about providing outdoors opportunities for children, working with our after school club leaders to develop and deliver after school wraparound care from Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm. Giving children the freedom to experience nature and the natural environment whilst also providing structured activities is key and the successful candidate will be passionate about working with children outdoors. There is some flexibility around hours for the right individual and there is also the potential to deliver holiday clubs during school holidays and build on the expansion of forest school provision.
A Forest School qualification would be an advantage and the successful candidate would be required to attend appropriate CPD such as Paediatric/Outdoor First Aid and Level 3 Safeguarding training in order to support the role.
