Salary: L1 (FTE) £20,258 per annum – Actual £3,466.71 per annum
Job type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 7.5 hours a week, 38 weeks per year
Hours of work: 15:30pm – 17:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
13:30pm to 15:30pm (Fridays)
About the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, child centred professional who has a good understanding of child development needs and to help in the provision of out of school hours child care provision under the supervision of the Club co-ordinator.
THE ROLES:
After School Club Assistant:
- To support the ASC Co-Ordinator in delivering a varied daily programme and play games to keep the children stimulated;
- Help plan a diverse range of activities to support their development;
- Ensure safeguarding policies are rigorously upheld;
- Hours of work 15:30pm and 17:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 1:30pm to 15:00pm (Fridays)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in an After-School Club is desirable but not an essential.
- Of greater importance is that you have a genuine interest in working with children and a bright and caring nature.
- You must be adaptable and ready to deal with new situations daily.
- Candidates will be considered for one of the roles only, or both if they prefer.
- Appointment to this position will be subject to a successful DBS check
