After School Club Leader

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time After School Club Leader, based at Aloeric Primary School.

Hours: 6.75 hours per week, 3.15pm – 5.30pm, Monday to Wednesday, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days).

Salary range D4-D6, £24,404-£25,183 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £3731-£3850 per annum).

We would like to recruit a permanent After School Club Leader to manage the day to day running of the After School Provision providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who access the provision. To plan and organise a range of stimulating activities suitable for Primary age children, taking into account the children’s interests.

Duties will include:

To lead the day to day management of the after school provision.

To provide line management to a team of play leaders, directing their work, supervising their activities and inducting new staff members.

To work with play leaders to provide care, as well as play opportunities and activities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, with regard to the individual developmental needs of the children.

To implement and regularly review all policies and procedures for the after school provision.

To maintain all records relating to the after school provision in accordance with data protection and freedom of information legislation/regulations.

To liaise with the school team to administer bookings and organise the collection of fees, ensuring that any monetary transactions are handled and documented as directed by the School’s Business Manager.

To maintain records of staff attendance and manage staff absence and lateness.
