We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and organised After School Club Manager to lead and develop this important part of our school day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and can create a fun, safe and engaging environment where pupils can relax, play, socialise and take part in a range of activities after school.

Monday – Thursday 3:15pm – 6:15pm (term time) - hours to be reviewed in the new academic year

About the Role

The After School Club Manager will:

  • Lead the daily running of the after-school club
  • Plan and deliver a variety of creative, play-based and active activities
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and happy environment for all children
  • Supervise children and support any additional staff or volunteers
  • Maintain registers, records and communication with parents
  • Ensure the provision runs in line with school safeguarding and health & safety procedures

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
  • Is organised, reliable and confident leading activities
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Is enthusiastic about supporting children’s wellbeing and development
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child welfare

Relevant training such as Paediatric First Aid, L3 DSL training and Food Hygiene is desirable, although training can be provided in these areas for the right candidate.
