After School Club Playworker job summary


We are looking for an After School Club Play Worker who:


       Is committed to our school mission statement and values


       Has a positive and flexible approach


       Is nurturing and supportive


       Enjoys working as part of a dedicated, vibrant and creative staff team


       Sets up activities before the start of the sessions


       Collects and escorts children from the school to the club


       Participates in the preparation and delivery of club refreshments


       Leads creative, stimulating and appropriate planned activities (e.g. art, cooking, sports) 


       Monitors child led activities


       Promotes good behaviour by using praise and reward 


       Follows any individual behaviour plans that have been implemented in the club


       Clears away activities at the end of the sessions, leaving all areas clean and tidy


       Administers first aid as required


       Records and reports accidents and incidents in a timely and accurate manner


       Ensures materials and equipment are kept clean and safe
