After School Club Worker job summary

We are looking to appoint an after-school club worker to join our wrap around care team. The vacancy is to work on a Friday from 3:15pm-6:00pm, with the possibility of additional hours on other days trhoughout the week on an ad-hoc basis.

You will be a friendly, enthusiastic, and able to build a rapport with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors alike. You will be responsible for providing care and play opportunities for pupils in a safe and calm environment at the end of the school day.

We are looking to appoint a person who:

  • Loves children!
  • Has previous experience of working with children
  • Has a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate with children and adults alike
  • is reliable, efficient, and flexible
  • is able to work as part of a team and is willing to learn
  • speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
