Afterschool Club Assistant job summary
At Burbage, our children are at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on the progress they make both academically and socially in a happy and caring environment. These values are continued through in to our Afterschool Club, which is a very much valued service by all in the school community.

- Could you provide a home from home, relaxing, engaging and fun environment at the end of the school day?
Your main responsibilities would include;
- Supervising children aged between 4 & 11
- Leading a range of imaginative activities
- Preparing and serving snacks
- Communicating with parents and carers
- Setting up and storing equipment, leaving all facilities clean and tidy for the following day
- Day to day administration in liaison with the Club manager
We are looking for someone who is, well organised, flexible, creative and able to communicate and build good relationships with children, parents & staff.
A first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
We have 13 hours per week available covering our club between 3.10pm & 6pm per evening. We are happy to split these hours between more than one candidate if preferred.
