Alternative Provision Inclusion Manager job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Inclusion Manager to lead our on-site Alternative Provision (AP) within Queen Elizabeth High School, champion inclusive practice across the school and ensure the highest standards of support for students with a wide range of academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Role
Working under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion & SENDCo), you will manage the day-to-day running of our Alternative Provision, supervising support staff and delivering bespoke programmes that enable students to re-engage with learning, develop positive behaviour, and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Building strong, supportive relationships with students.
Managing and supporting AP staff.
Planning and delivering tailored interventions.
Working with parents, teachers and external agencies.
Monitoring attendance, behaviour and progress.
Organising work placements, trips and enrichment activities.
Supporting reintegration into mainstream lessons.
About You
Strong literacy/numeracy skills and relevant qualifications.
Experience with adolescents and SEND.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Calm, positive, solution‑focused approach.
Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
Working Hours: 8:00-16:00 with occasional additional time.
