Alternative Provisions Hub Learning Mentor job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a rewarding role that provides first-hand insight into the teaching profession while allowing you to develop skills, boost your confidence, and make a difference.
Purpose of the job:
- In class support for students that are struggling to access a mainstream timetable
- Intensive and high-impact support for our students that follow an alternative education from Mainstream. This will involve 1-1 or small group work with our most complex students in school and off site
- Individual or group support for the pastoral needs of students, in order to remove obstacles and barriers to learning.

Managing our isolation room on either site
- Close work with parents and outside agencies
We’re looking for enthusiastic and inspiring Alternative Provisions Hub Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team at King Alfred's Academy. This role is ideal for anyone passionate about education and eager to positively impact students' lives, supporting their learning and personal development. You’ll be working alongside talented staff and playing a vital role in the classroom.
We are seeking candidates who hold high expectations for all students and are dedicated to raising educational achievement across the curriculum and grade levels.
