Deneholm Primary School are looking to recruit a talented individual to help us establish and shape our brand new Autistic Spectrum Disorder Resource Base funded directly by the Local Authority to eventually accommodate ten children. The unit will be led by a full-time experienced specialist teacher. The successful candidates will have a passion for working with young children and for assisting them to overcome their personal or behavioural issues which are often a barrier to pupils achieving their full potential. As a member of staff, you will be valued and supported; in return, we are looking for commitment, drive and enthusiasm.

This role will be 30 hours a week Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm term time only

Why Deneholm Primary School?

At Deneholm Primary School, we aim to give all our pupils the best possible start. We are committed to developing the whole child and aim for excellence so that all pupils are ready for their next stage in education and can confidently take their place in modern Britain. We are very fortunate to be able to offer Nurture Provision for those children who need this valuable support.

We are an Ofsted ‘Good’ school (2018) where “pupils are keen to do well and respond to teachers with enthusiasm across a range of subjects” and “leaders provide training and support to help teachers develop to the highest standard”. Our personal development, behaviour and welfare is ‘outstanding’.
