Apprentice Administrative Assistant job summary

We would like to appoint a warm and welcoming new member to join our admin team. You will need good administrative and people skills as you will be the first line of contact with children, parents and visitors to the school. Your main responsibilities will be providing clerical  support to the busy school office, pupils and teachers, with the ability to be flexible, reliable and hard-working within a team to ensure duties are carried out efficiently and effectively. You will order and organise stock, support at lunchtime with lunches and first aid and you will promote our school throughout the local community by updating our website and social media platforms. 

 As with any school office duties will vary from day to day.

No previous experience of working in a school is necessary but a knowledge of Arbor would be advantageous although training will be given. Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills, as well as previous administrative or clerical experience are essential. In addition a good sense of humour and the ability to multi-task are important.
Visits to the school are encouraged.
