Part time: Part Time: 28 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday) (20% of the hours will be linked to the apprenticeship)

Pay scale

Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale A: £15,247 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£23,555 full time/full year equivalent)

What skills and experience we're looking for

Qualifications: • Good numeracy/literacy skills • Achieved minimum English and Maths level 1, ideally level 2 in Mathematics and English

Experience: • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

Skills, Knowledge: • Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning • Ability to use a range of relevant technology • Ability to evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities • Ability to relate well to children and adults • Experience of teaching intervention groups • Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of legislation • General understanding of National Curriculum and other basic learning programmes • Basic understanding of child development and learning • Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
