Apprentice Nursery Assistant for 2 Year Old Room - Term Time job summary

As part of our Nursery expansion, the Governing Body are looking to appoint an apprentice for our 2 year old room, which opens in January. This is a newly created position for a 16-18 year old, who is looking for a long term career in early years education. During the training period of 18 months, this will be a fixed term contract, whilst the apprentice gains their level 3 qualification. You will be supported with your studies, and provided with a wealth of experience. It is expected that the successful candidate will be a Nursery Assistant after the training period, and continue their professional development at St Mary's. The succesful candidate must be motivated and enthusiastic, and have some understanding of safeguarding. They will be developing professional skills and practices, as well as an understanding of child development, social, physical, emotional and learning needs for 2 year olds.
