What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Successful experience of working as part of a team
  • The ability to communicate well with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Evidence of being able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • The ability to keep written records.
  • The ability to support the development of pupils’ English and maths skills with confidence.
  • Awareness of how pupils learn and the factors which can affect their learning.
  • Evidence of the ability to carry out a range of activities across the school, to work with different children, of different ages, with different learning and medical needs.
  • A desire to take part in training to develop own skills and expertise.
  • Knowledge and understanding of and commitment to inclusion.
  • To demonstrate a commitment to the success of pupils at Bygrove
