Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice at Westover Green School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

About Westover Green School

Located in Bridgwater, Somerset, Westover Green Community School is a large mainstream primary school catering to children aged 4 to 11. The school prides itself on offering a broad and inclusive curriculum, striving to meet the needs of all pupils, regardless of age or ability. The on-site Autism Centre provides specialist provision and learning for children with a diagnosis of Autism, reflecting the school's commitment to inclusivity and tailored education.

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will with primary aged children under the supervision of the class teacher and/or SENCO, to undertake a range of directed activities to support the educational and development needs of pupils. This will involve in assisting teachers with the organisation and maintenance of classroom resources and to contribute to the supervision and welfare of pupils throughout the school.
