Job title: Apprenticeship Teaching assistant (TA)

Salary: starting from £7000 for under 23 year olds

Contract type: Term Time only/Fixed Term for the duration of the Apprenticeship Course

Reporting to: Class Teacher/SLT

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed person to undertake the Apprenticeship Teaching Assistant Course. Please see the attached job description and person specification for more information.

Main purpose

The TA will:

  • Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
