The role
Great Marlow School is looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and committed Art and Design team, to provide technical and administrative assistance to teaching staff and the subject lead.
We are an oversubscribed school with a popular Art and Design department teaching across all key stages. The Art and Design Department has excellent facilities to support high quality teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient organisation of the department’s resources, collaborative working spaces and lesson preparation.
The individual should be a reliable, flexible and self-motivated professional.
Some experience in Art and Design practice is preferable, though training will be provided.

Great Marlow School is a large co-educational secondary school located in the town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The school has around 1,450 students aged 11-19, with over 200 attending the sixth form.
Founded in 1961, the school converted to academy status in 2011 and in the last six years has invested £9 million in developing the school facilities including a state of the art sports centre, sixth form centre and performing arts accommodation. The Redgrave Sports Centre was named after former pupil and Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, he opened in the centre in May 2013. The school and the sports centre are a 'hub' of the local community and host events and activities throughout the evenings, weekends and school holidays.
