Art & Craft Teacher job summary
As Foundry College develops we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and outstanding KS3 & KS4 Arts & Crafts Teacher who really wants to make a difference to the young people in Wokingham.
The ideal candidate will:-
• Be an effective practitioner looking to develop the curriculum in KS3 & KS4 Arts & Crafts
• Be a person who thrives in a challenging environment, is resilient and approachable
• Be an outstanding classroom teacher with high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Have a commitment to push pupils to achieve beyond their expected progress levels
• Have a proven track record in raising standards and a good understanding of securing school improvement
• Have a passion for building strong relationships with young people through restorative working
• Be a good communicator who is able to inspire and motivate pupils but also who can remain calm under pressure and have a sense of humour
• Be creative in your teaching and strive to bring out the best in pupils
