Art, Design and Technology Technician job summary

Meadowhead School Academy Trust are looking to appoint a highly motivated and well-organised person to join our team of Technicians in providing an effective and efficient support service to our Art, Design and Technology Faculty.

The successful applicant will be based predominately within the Art and Photography department but may also be required to provide cover for colleagues in other areas within the faculty.

This is an interesting and varied role which will include, under the direction of the Head of department, the ordering and distribution of stock and equipment, preparation of materials for lessons (including preparation for ceramics/ textiles work), managing photography equipment and supporting students in accessing learning experiences.

A background in creative arts would be an advantage although full training will be provided.

Hours: 37 hours per week, working8.00am – 4pm Monday – Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm on Friday’s, 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff training days)
