- £17,490.00 - £18,297.00 Annually (Actual) 41 weeks (39 weeks in term time including 5 Inset Days plus 2 weeks during school holidays.) 25 hours per week (daily hours to be agreed with Line Manager.) Any day worked over 6 hours will include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Art Technician job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Art Technician to join our school and department which caters for keen and highly able students.
This post would suit someone with an interest in Art or artistic background, or an experienced Art Technician who relishes the opportunity to work in a high-performing all girls’ school.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- the set up and maintenance of classrooms, workspaces and exhibition spaces
- the movement and management of resources, equipment and materials which may include chemicals or substances requiring care in handling
- administrative support including the ordering and inventory of resources
- the support of all areas of the department including Lens-Based Media and Textiles
- providing some administrative and technical support to either the Music or Drama department, up to 5 hours per week
The successful candidate will:
- have a genuine interest in artists and designers
- be passionate about supporting young people to enjoy and succeed through their journey at Nonsuch
- be an organised and reliable team player
