We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
We are looking for an assistant catering manager to join our friendly team, to provide an efficient and effective service to our school within the catering department.
The assistant catering manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities, which include working alongside the catering manager to ensure the smooth running of the catering service within Crestwood School to required standard/specification.
Working with catering assistants to ensure the kitchen runs safely and efficiently, whilst ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.
You will need to be;
- To be physically fit
- To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance
- Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job task
- Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.
- Team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour
- A natural team leader who promotes a good work ethic.
Experience:
Previous experience within a catering setting is a must. Catering NVQ qualifications would be desirable but is not essential, as full training opportunities will be given.

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.
