Icknield High School is a highly
successful multi-cultural 11-16 comprehensive with Academy status, situated in
pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and
passionate Assistant Curriculum Leader to be part of our outstanding English
department. This is a tremendous opportunity to lead a high performing
team of specialist teachers who consistently achieve outstanding outcomes for
our students. We are justifiably proud of our excellent results, achieving a
Progress 8 score of +0.43 in 2023 and believe that we offer both students and
staff a caring environment in which they can succeed. Overall, 77% of our
students achieve a grade 4 or above, 60% achieved a grade 5 or above and 27%
achieved a grade 7 or above.
