Assistant Curriculum Leader Mathematics job summary
We
are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and passionate specialist to
lead our outstanding science department. This is a tremendous opportunity to
lead a high performing team of specialist teachers who consistently achieve
outstanding outcomes for our students. We are justifiably proud of our
excellent results, achieving a Progress 8 score of +0.43 in 20223 and believe
that we offer both students and staff a caring environment in which they can
succeed.
We are extremely proud of the outcomes for GCSE Maths in 2023. Overall, 79% of our students achieved a grade 4 or above, 63% achieved a grade 5 or above and 29% achieved a grade 7 or above. The value added for the department was +0.90.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- · Up to date knowledge about the recent changes to curriculum design and assessment
- · An outstanding track record within your current department.
- · Experience of developing and holding staff accountable.
We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.
