What skills and experience we're looking for

he successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established and high performing team and will:

  • Be an excellent teacher of RE at KS3-4. (There is the potential to teach KS5 for suitably skilled candidates)

  • Have excellent behaviour management skills

  • Lead on the quality of key stage 3 or key stage 5 RE education within the faculty

  • Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.

  • Work closely with the Curriculum Leader for RE and the PICCL to develop all students’ active involvement in prayer and liturgy at St Edmund’s.
