What skills and experience we're looking for
he successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established and high performing team and will:
Be an excellent teacher of RE at KS3-4. (There is the potential to teach KS5 for suitably skilled candidates)
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Lead on the quality of key stage 3 or key stage 5 RE education within the faculty
Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
Work closely with the Curriculum Leader for RE and the PICCL to develop all students’ active involvement in prayer and liturgy at St Edmund’s.

Due to exceptional growth in student numbers, we are seeking a talented individual to deliver high-quality lessons and excellent pastoral care across KS3-KS5. It is an exciting time to join St Edmund’s Catholic Academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding.
