Assistant / Deputy Head - 0.8 FTE job summary

The Deputy Headteacher will assist the Headteacher in shaping a vision and direction for the school. You will set out very high expectations, with a clear focus on student achievement and quality of education. They will have an impact on the quality of education and students’ achievements, leading the school community in promoting positive attitudes to learning amongst students and staff.

We are looking for a passionate and committed leader who can build on the significant improvements already made and take the school to new levels of success.

This role is part-time, four days a week, with two days per week in class (in KS2) and two days non-teaching. It will include Head of Teaching and Learning and Head of Curriculum, leading current subject leaders of English, Maths, and other curriculum areas.
